WEEKLY PART-TIME RATES: Based on accumulated hours per week which is determined from a Monday thru Sunday service calendar.
EMERGENCY / LAST MINUTE REQUESTS FOR SAME DAY SERVICE
Standard minimum 3 hour requirement with no maximum restriction is $ 18.00/hr
SHORT-TERM LIVE-IN
The above rates are applicable only to those families registered with Your Other Hands. Non-registered client rates are a flat $20.00 / hour. Registration is required annually at the non-refundable rate of $100.00 per year.
Rates are based on the care provided for up to 3 children per household.* There is a required 3 hour minimum per day service charge. Even if your care requirement is less then 3 hours.
EXPLANATION OF BILLING AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES AND, OR ADDITIONAL COSTS TO CLIENT IF APPLICABLE.
*expect higher prices for 3 children under the age of 5 years old per family
YOUR OTHER HANDS, provides Full Service Childcare to its registered clients. We do this by various means....
1. Your requests and or emergency child care needs are not restricted to office hours. We are available to you 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Emergency service request at 11:30 pm or 5am are always responded to. Regular office hours are 9 AM to 5 PM for all other inquires.
2. Nannies utilize a time card for the purpose of documentation for all hours and days of service performed. This enables all parties to have a paper trail of all hours. You'll know at the completion of each assignment what your balance due is, by simply multiplying the number of hours worked times the appropriate rate per hour. At no time are our clients in a position to negotiate the rate per nanny per day.
3. Payment is made easy by either handing the nanny the check for services then and there or you are welcome to mail in your check within one week of services rendered.
4. For any past due amount your account will be charged an additional $25.00 per week for every week that amount remains over due. There is also an additional charge of $50.00 for each check returned to our office by the bank.
5. We pay the nannies as sub contractor's, which allows you to still claim your expenses for childcare through us to be filled on the IRS 2421 form for childcare expenses. At no additional cost to you ,you are welcome to receive, upon request, a financial statement with our Federal ID number for your tax purposes.
6. Transportation costs for nannies using Septa rail line travel are asked to be paid directly to the nanny. Any time a nanny uses her car for your assignment and you live outside City Limits we ask you pay the nanny directly .50 cents per mile one way only. She will provide you with an office receipt for is. Otherwise there is no cost to you for the nanny to get to and from your job.
8.WHAT YOUR NOT CHARGED FOR...Coming home earlier then you expected, days off, sick days, vacation time, substitute for permanent nanny prearranged, transportation within City limits, interviews with nannies, financial statements, cancellations, or the convenience of a 24 hour service only a phone call away. With Your Other Hands you only pay for what you get. Unlike day care centers you are not required to commit to any set schedule and our hours are as flexible as you need them to be, always have been.
